Wyeth supports corporate triathlon

Wyeth Consumer under its "Advil" brand has been a proud supporter of the BP/BRW Corporate Triathlon Series for the past two years.

The series has become somewhat an institution within the corporate sector around Australia as it represents an opportunity for business people of all ages to participate in a team event and settle a few arguments in the office as to who is in the best shape!

Competitors take part in a 400 metre swim, 8 km bike ride and 4km run.

Each year approximately 14,000 people participate in the series and an additional 30,000 people come along as spectators. Amongst them - a group of committed Wyeth employees who train for months to ensure they're in peak condition prior to the big race.

This year's Sydney event again saw a big contingent from Wyeth swap their suits for sneakers as they set out on the gruelling course. And whilst we didn't quite have a presence in the top three, we certainly brought to the event our energetic enthusiasm!
