Mental Health Council Australia
The Mental Health Council of Australia (MHCA) is the peak, national non-government organisation representing and promoting the interests of the Australian mental health sector, committed to achieving better mental health for all Australians. Wyeth Australia is a part of a collaboration of seven pharmaceutical companies who signed a Memorandum of Understanding in October 04 to support the MHCA. This collaboration will help fund mental health week in 2006 and research into effective community service structures. Money donated will also help the MHCA to continue its advisory and advocacy role in the mental health area and help the organisation to achieve its four key aims:- Promote mentally healthy communities
- Educate Australians on mental health issues
- Conduct research into mental health issues
- Reform Australia's mental health system
