Wyeth is a sustaining member of The Haemophilia Foundation Australia (HFA), an organisation that represents people with haemophilia, von Willebrand disorder and other related bleeding disorders and their families. Like Wyeth, the HFA is committed to improving treatment and care with a focus on representation and advocacy, education and the promotion of research.
In addition to this community investment, Wyeth has developed two genetically engineered blood-clotting factors that help people to treat their Haemophilia without the added risk of blood-borne viruses and other infections.
