Time Efficient Mental Health – solutions for time poor GPs
Material for this program has been developed by GPs in association with the Department of General Practice and Department of Psychological Medicine at Monash University, and in consultation with psychiatrists and psychologists.
The program has also been accredited for Level One Mental Health. Once GPs have completed 6 hours of Time Efficient Mental Health education, they can register with the General Practice Mental Health Standards Collaboration (GPMHSC) for Level One of the Better Outcomes in Mental Health Care initiative. In addition, GPs who are already registered at Level One will meet their 2005-2007 requirements for mental health through completing the program.
The Enable Program
The Enable Program aims to provide GPs with a broad range of information about Rheumatoid Arthritis and help them to fulfil their role in helping their patients to manage their condition.
The Enable Program has been developed in conjunction with GPs and rheumatologist from across Australia. It is an interactive case study based meetings program with videos and practical clinical resources.
The program has been accredited by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. GPs attending the meetings will be awarded 4 QA&CPD Category 2 points per case study and once completing 6 hours of the program, will be awarded 30 QA&CPD Category 1 points.
